PLEASE READ (01/24/12) I have been informed that there has been a suspicious red pick-up truck sitting at various bus stops in the morning. None of the children have been able to identify this person. He is an older white male with a white/gray beard. He drives a red, covered bed pick-up truck with Ohio plates. Please look around in the mornings when your children go off to bus stops. The Plainfield police have been contacted regarding this situation. Please feel free to post any comments on our Facebook page Community Reminder (12/07/11) With the snow season upon us, please take the time to clear sidewalks of snow. There are many students who rely on clear sidewalks for bus stops. Sidewalks that are not cleared force children into the unsafe streets. The plainfield police have been contacted and we were told they had a lead on the person responsible. We were also advised to hold off on filing an insurance claim. When we did not hear back from them, we contacted them again and were told they were not able to locate the person who hit the fence. We have now contacted our insurance person and sent them the police report. The claims department contacted the board and have given us the name of a company to do the repair. We hope to have them out his week to do an estimate and schedule the repair. If you have any knowledge regarding the responsible party for hitting the fence, please contact the board.
